Crib ‘n Crawler
Newborn to Pre-K
every Sunday from 9:45 – 11:15 am
Our Crib & Crawler offers an appealing and nurturing environment, staffed to care for newborns to three-year-olds, 9:45 – 11:15 am every Sunday. Our goal is to provide safe and loving care for these youngest members of our church family, better enabling parents to participate in worship. While we are glad to have children of all ages worship with us in the sanctuary, the Crib ‘n Crawler’s staff is always prepared to welcome and care for your child.
The Crib ‘n Crawler is typically staffed with two adults, and parents are given a pager that will be used should their child need them for any reason during worship.
Registration
Regular participants are encouraged to register for the program.

Children in Worship
While all children ages 3 and above generally start in worship before going to Sunday school, children of all ages are always welcome to remain in worship throughout the service. For those who benefit from something to keep them occupied while in worship, binders and bags full of activities, coloring pages, crossword puzzles and more are available. Visit our Noah’s Ark as you enter or ask an usher for assistance.
Children’s Offerings
Children have the opportunity to bring their own offering to their classroom or Children’s Chapel, each Sunday. Families receive periodic information about this opportunity and can choose to participate if they wish. All of the monies contributed by the children are sent to a chosen benevolence the children learn about at various points throughout the year. In recent years, our primary partner for this ministry has been Happy Life Children’s Home in Nairobi, Kenya.

Volunteers Needed
The Sunday school program of North Shore Church is almost entirely reliant upon volunteer leadership. Our weekly programs require a minimum of 3-4, and sometimes as many as 8-10, volunteer leaders and teachers on a Sunday morning.
Sunday school teachers are asked to review and prep a lesson to be led during the 10 am worship service, while additional adults are needed to be present in the classrooms and assist the teacher as she/he needs. All volunteers receive the blessing of working with the youngest members of our church family and learning from the wonderful questions they ask and ideas they explore.

Is My Child Safe?
Providing a safe and comfortable environment for children is imperative for the personal and spiritual development of both the children and their parents. Through membership expectations, accountability practices, background checks, and more, we work diligently to see to the well-being and protection of all children at North Shore Congregational Church. Feel free to review our Child Safety Policy and contact us if you have any questions.
