A Covenant Fellowship
“I confess my love for God, for Jesus Christ, and for my fellow men and women. I hereby covenant to live in the fellowship of the Gospel, to walk in the ways of the Lord—known and to be made known to me—to share in the worship and work of the Church, to cooperate with it in all good enterprises, and to promote its service, its maintenance, its purity, and its peace.”
~ North Shore Congregational Church Covenant
As a community bound by this covenant, the relationships we share with one another are central to our efforts to pursue God’s work in and through our church. Whether we are gathering around a table sharing food and conversation or joining together in our cheers for a local sports team, the connections we form through our fellowship events create a lasting foundation that strengthens every worship experience, Bible study, mission trip, service project, or other events that we share.
Upcoming Fellowship Events
Sunday Fellowship
June 13 after worship
After a far too long long hiatus, we were thrilled to resume our Sunday fellowship time on June 13, and will continue to gather between our services (9:50-10:20am) each Sunday throughout the summer. Please join us as we embrace the privilege of sharing this time with one another once again.

Ongoing Fellowship Groups
Fellowship Potlucks
Out of the meaningful relationships that were formed by the Search and Call Committee members in 2014-2015, a new model of fellowship gatherings was spawned. In a desire to continue to gather regularly, the committee began what are now known, simply, as Fellowship Potlucks. One to two times each month, a potluck is scheduled at the home of one of our members (who randomly volunteer to host). These gatherings are very informal and low-key, and the attendance varies tremendously from one to the next (as few as 4-5 and as many as 25+). There is no agenda or pre-formed expectation for any particular gathering – simply an opportunity for God’s presence to be palpable through the fellowship shared. Dates are generally published in the church calendar. If you would like to receive direct emails about upcoming potlucks, please contact the church office.
Lydia Circle
The Lydia Circle is named after the biblical Lydia, an influential businesswoman in the regions of Macedonia, and a dealer in purple cloth (Acts 16:13-15). She was Paul’s first Christian convert in Europe and helped open the way for Christian ministry in the west, especially through her hospitality to Christian missionaries. At North Shore Congregational Church, the Lydia Circle extends warm hospitality to all women of the church for programs of interest, spiritual growth, and holy fun on one day each month (September through May). For more information about Lydia Circle and our upcoming events, please consult the church calendar or contact the church office in order to receive e-mail notifications of future events.
Moms ‘n More
Moms ‘n’ More is a group for women of all ages and stages. This ministry of the church offers women opportunities for friendship, faith enrichment, and support in their many roles as women. Among the objectives of Moms ‘n’ More are to create an environment for friendship and sharing, and to provide programs and opportunities for faith development for women. Activities and schedules for Moms ‘n More events vary in form and schedule, ranging in everything from service projects and fundraisers to evening campfires and gatherings at a local nail salon. If you would like to learn more about upcoming events, please see the church calendar, or contact the church office to be placed on the e-mail notification group.
Scrooby Groups
Scrooby Groups are a longstanding tradition of meaningful fellowship in our church. All participants are placed into dinner groups (‘Scrooby Groups’) that gather once every month or two for an evening of food and fellowship at the home of one of the group members. Groups typically have 6-8 members and gather by means of a potluck, with the host rotating throughout those in the group, as able. Each group gathers within their fellowship for a period of two years, allowing sufficient time for lasting relationships to be built between the group members. At the end of the two-year rotation, the groups are reconstituted in order to allow new relationships to form. If you would be interested in knowing more about Scrooby Groups, contact the church office.
